We all want to eat a bit healthier, but for many of us the idea of eating more plants sounds like punishment. Add to that the extra effort during mealtimes and it’s no wonder that most of us just continue with what causes the least amount of fuss all round.
I thought exactly that when I was forced to change my lifestyle drastically some years ago. That was, until I found out just how much better I felt and I started experimenting (and researching) in an effort to make mealtimes a bit less stressful and the meals tastier.
Contrary to popular belief, you should never have to compromise taste for nutrition and cooking should not take up hours of your precious time. I am hoping to do a weekly post with an easy, delicious recipe idea that will get you thinking out of the box and inspire you to do a bit of your own experimenting. Luckily, Johan is already providing us with gorgeous fresh fruit and veggies every week; so many of the ingredients you will need are already available on the YFresh site.
